Do I need separate API keys for Binance spot and futures?

No. One system-generated API key covers both. You only need separate files if you upload trade history manually, because Binance exports spot and futures history separately.

Why are my Binance trades showing at the wrong time of day?

The Account Statement export uses your local timezone by default. Set the timezone next to the Time Range field to UTC before generating the file, then upload it to TradeChainly.

Does TradeChainly place trades on my Binance account?

No. TradeChainly uses read-only access to sync your order and trade history. It cannot place trades, transfer funds or withdraw.

How far back does Binance trade history go?

Binance limits the date range covered by a single export. If you need older history, export the additional date ranges separately and upload them one at a time.

Are Binance fees included in my P&L?

Yes. Trading fees are deducted per fill, so the net P&L you see in TradeChainly reflects the fees paid on your trades.

Establishing Connection

In the top-right corner, hover over the account icon and click on Account from the dropdown menu.

In the left side menu, under the Account section, click on API Management.

Click on the Create API button in the top-right corner, select System generated, and click Next.

Enter a label for your API key and click Next.

Do not edit the permissions. Leave everything as it is by default.

Copy your API Key and API Secret here.

Click on Sync.

Spot File Upload

In the top-right corner, hover over the wallet icon and click on Account Statement from the dropdown menu.

In the right corner, click the Export button.

In the Data Type field, select: Trade History -> Spot -> Trade History.

Leave Info Display to All.

Under Time Range, Choose your date range.

Locate the timezone setting, shown as something like “UTC+…” near the Time Range section and change it to UTC.

Then under Profile Format, select Excel and click Generate.

When the file is ready in the Export Details table, click on the Download button and you can upload it directly here.

Futures File Upload

In the top-right corner, hover over the wallet icon and click on Account Statement from the dropdown menu.

In the right corner, click the Export button.

In the Data Type field, select: Trade History -> Futures -> Trade History.

Under Type, select USD-M Futures.

Leave Info Display to All.

Under Time Range, Choose your date range.

Locate the timezone setting, shown as something like “UTC+…” near the Time Range section and change it to UTC.

Then under Profile Format, select Excel and click Generate.

When the file is ready in the Export Details table, click on the Download button and you can upload it directly here.
