Binance specifics

What catches people out on Binance

Worth knowing 1

Spot and futures trade history are exported separately. If you trade both, export both files before uploading.

Worth knowing 2

The Account Statement export uses your local timezone by default. Set it to UTC before generating the file so your time-based reports line up correctly.

Worth knowing 3

Binance creates the API key for you. Keep the default read-only permissions when connecting it to TradeChainly.

After you connect

Connect once. Your journal stays up to date

New trades flow into TradeChainly automatically, where they are organized for reports and ready to explore with AI Coach in Claude or ChatGPT.
